It’s time to change our thinking about professionalism. Outmoded ideas about what it means to be, act, and look professional may cause harm in the workplace, especially to employees who are people of color and women. This session will include examples of this harm, and on a positive note, outline ways we can encode inclusivity and belonging into the culture of the workplace and maintain high standards in regard to how we interact with one another.
