Kevin A. Carter (he/him/his) resides on the ancestral lands and waters of the Coast Salish people who have called Orcas Island home since time immemorial. He is a vegan, video gamer, heart attack survivor, and husband. Kevin has over twenty-five years of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) experience and has served as the DEI leader for BP, Campbell Soup, Ahold, and Safeco Insurance. At The Winters Group, Inc., he is the Vice President of Strategy and Assessments and strives to be a non-anxious, dispassionate, and affirming presence in meeting people where they are on their journey to center equity and justice. Kevin holds a bachelor of arts, cum laude, in philosophy and public affairs from Vanderbilt University and a master of business administration in finance from the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management.
