Blake Baird (he/him) is a neurodivergent educator, principal, and systems strategist committed to building schools where every student is seen, heard, and supported. He currently serves as the Secondary Principal of Chief Leschi Schools, a tribally affiliated P-12 school in the Puyallup Nation in Washington State, where he leads equity-centered initiatives that strengthen belonging, redesign systems, and deepen relational trust across the school community.
With more than fifteen years of experience in education, Blake has worked at the intersections of trauma-informed practice, cross-agency collaboration, and culturally responsive school leadership. His work focuses on students who “live between worlds;”youth navigating mental health, disability, indigeneity, and institutional gaps across education, healthcare, and community systems.
Blake brings lived autistic and ADHD experience, frontline leadership, and a background in science and process design to help organizations reimagine what equity looks like in complex environments. He is known for his clarity, storytelling, and ability to translate VUCA conditions into actionable strategies rooted in empathy, purpose, and community.
