CC Miller is a Charlotte, NC native. Her career as an author began with a love of reading fostered from infancy. Reading was a freedom that seeded a desire to make some of that freedom for herself. Some short stories, some fiction, and some essays budded, but poetry bloomed and flourished in her hand. Performing poetry came easily at first. Recording it, not so much, but publishing it was the perfect challenge. Besides, CC is a fan of the idea that closing the literacy gap is a realizable fantasy. It would be a great privilege to have a hand in that. The poetry lends itself to imagery so easily that several vibrant and textured pieces reflect the craft in stories you can see through Miller's lens.
