Description

Throughout the course of American history, Black leaders have navigated around the injustices of their times to create foundations of strength that made a positive change in this country. This session will examine the actions of visionary leaders, including Dr. Carter G. Woodson, Ida B. Wells, Ellen Craft, and others who said NO to racism and YES to equity and justice. Their bravery paved the way for the diversity, equity, inclusion, and multiculturalism that we savor in today's world. By reflecting on past achievements, this workshop will reaffirm the value of protecting the power of DEI in today's divided society.
