As an Ililliew Cree from Moose Cree First Nation on Treaty 9 territory, Candace's unwavering dedication to her community is rooted in a legacy of a trailblazing Chief and Treaty signatory. Breaking glass ceilings is in her veins, and she is a fierce advocate for Indigenous Women, Girls, Two Spirit, Transgender, and Gender Diverse (WG2STGD) People.

She fearlessly tackles issues caused by patriarchy, white supremacy, capitalism, colonization, and racism, and their devastating impacts on Indigenous communities.
