Aminata Conteh-Biger is an author, the Founder & CEO of the Aminata Maternal Foundation, a former Sierra Leonean refugee who has emerged as a prominent figure in Australia. Renowned for her humanitarian work, she holds the position of Special Representative for Australia's United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and has received accolades such as the Women's Agenda’s “Agenda Setter of the Year” and a Humanitarian Award from Celebration of African Australians NSW.
