Angel Enriquez (she/her) joined Amazon in 2017 and is the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) for Devices & Services, the team behind the best-selling Amazon Echo &; Alexa devices, Kindle e-reader, Fire tablet, Fire TV, and Dash Button product lines. Her career has centered on building mechanisms to drive equity and inclusion across HR functions and industries. She is a subject matter expert and counsel to internal teams and Amazon-wide efforts, including establishment and achievement of Amazon’s company-wide DEI goals. Prior to joining Amazon, Angel spent 20 years in human resources, most recently with Solar Turbines, a subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc., leading global teams in roles spanning diversity, domestic healthcare benefits, compliance, staffing and employee relations.

She lives in Hansville, Washington, with her husband Carl and her two dogs, Blue and Delilah. Her youngest daughter Jada is an incoming freshman at Howard University, while her oldest, Sophia recently graduated and is exploring the world as a new Howard grad.
