Attacks on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and the transgender community have become inextricably linked. Anti-DEI advocates have smartly targeted the trans community as a preliminary step in their broader effort to shut down the advancement of women, people of color, people with disabilities and anyone who is "other." At this moment we don't have a lack of "how-to." We have a lack of the courage and authenticity we need to play the long game and ensure that LGBTQ inclusion becomes an embedded value in our organizations. We'll explore what we got right and what we didn't with DEI and how we cultivate the will to transform ourselves and our organizations into our highest, most glamorous selves.
