Raised in a multi-cultural home with strong ties to both Cuba and Israel and as a member of the LBGTQ+ community, Dan grew up passionate about social justice, community building, and global affairs. In pursuit of those passions, Dan, alongside two former colleagues from Cook Ross - a DEI Consulting firm - co-founded IDEAS Generation in 2018. Since June of 2020, Dan has served as the organization’s inaugural Executive Director – a role that enables him to co-create a vibrant network of Millennial and Gen-Z leaders collectively advancing IDEAS: Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access, and Social Justice in their workplaces and communities. He has an MBA from the Yale School of Management, a BA in Political Science from Middlebury College.
