Description

This creative, grounding session invites changemakers to reconnect with their purpose as they navigate the complexity and urgency of justice-centered, social impact work. Using a community-rooted art practice, participants will create a personal “Vision Zine” that surfaces the values, stories, and commitments that sustain bold leadership.

With deep roots in social movements, zines offer a liberatory and accessible way to reclaim narrative power, honor lived experience, and spark imagination in times of uncertainty. Facilitators will offer simple templates, folding instructions, and gentle prompts, ensuring the process remains low-barrier and welcoming to all, regardless of artistic background.

Participants are encouraged to engage at their own pace, as the session offers space to pause and realign their personal purpose with the broader work of social change. Each person leaves with a hand-made zine (or a meaningful draft) that captures the values and reminders that fuel resilience, clarity, and possibility. This practice can be brought back to teams, organizations, and communities to foster shared visioning and collective imagination.

Together, we cultivate both courage and care—qualities essential for leading in uncertain times and shaping a more just, inclusive, and liberated future. Let’s create!
