Brilliant DEI strategies that never translate into sustained behavioral change.
Leaders who attend training, nod enthusiastically, then return to the same patterns.
We've all seen it.
This session explores why transformation requires more than intellectual agreement—it demands embodied practice. Drawing on more than 15 years of leading organizational change across sectors, Ghadeer Garcia examines how sustainable change happens when leaders notice what is happening in their bodies, relationships, and systems—not just their strategic plans.
Through guided practice and real-world scenarios, participants will experience the difference between knowing what to do and being able to do it—when your heart is racing, when defensiveness arises, or when the answers aren’t clear. Participants will work with common leadership challenges, including having difficult conversations under pressure, staying present during conflict, and leading through uncertainty.
You'll leave with somatic techniques for staying grounded, frameworks for building sustainable behavioral change, and a personal practice plan that integrates strategic thinking with embodied leadership skills.
