Description
Taking on the perspectives of others is one of the best ways for people to build understanding of others and increase personal investment in equity and inclusion initiatives. In polarized and restrictive environments, perspective-taking activities can address key learning objectives and support cross-cultural understanding while sidestepping common pitfalls of traditional trainings. In this session, we will experience a simulation challenging us to take on a different perspective and reflect on our real-time discoveries. In closing, we will brainstorm ways to carry insights into our work to activate more effective learning around equity, inclusion, and allyship.
