Creating change for an equitable world is a commitment we take seriously. Live Inclusively Actualized is the corporate social responsibility arm of The Winters Group and aims to break down systemic barriers that impact BIPOC communities through sponsorship and grant making to organizations and programs by and for BIPOC; and service opportunities that promote inclusion, equity and justice. Since it's inception, this program has awarded nearly $500,000 in grants to impactful non-profit organizations doing work that supports our vision. During this year's Summit, we will be awarding new grants to three deserving organizations. Learn more by clicking the logos below. Want to support these and other organizations? A portion of every sale from our Live Inclusively shop funds these grants, and supports building a more equitable world. Together, with organizations like these, we are building a brave future.

Learning Everyday Accomplishing Dreams (LEAD) Girls of NC teaches 400+ girls annually the tools they need so they can aspire and achieve greatness academically, emotionally, and creatively, and ultimately become self-sufficient. We provide opportunities for our girls and their families (living in Winston-Salem, NC / Forsyth county) to gain access to resources through education, mental health awareness, financial literacy skills training, entrepreneurship, STEAM, and other community programs, which gives a sense of identity and community to thrive and grow. Working in our schools and our overall city’s culture, we create a support network where our girls can expand their leadership and social-emotional skills, while exploring a pipeline to success, and building a community. We educate and empower girls to identify and make good choices for their lives now and in the future, with a focus on growing into strong, independent, and financially stable women.

LEAD Staff are trained to implement One Circle Foundation’s national program called Girls Circle, which is evidence-based, culturally responsive, trauma informed, gender-expansive, and strength-based. It addresses conditions and risks for young girls and builds on protective factors. Our structured leadership program meets bi-weekly during the school year at eight Title I schools during the day. Through Saturday sessions, we reach additional girls from other schools, homeschools, and those who are referred by local counselors. Each girl receives 60+ support hours through our workshops annually.  We also host wellness events, a Leadership Expo, a STEAM program, a Summer Entrepreneurship Fashion Camp, and a Parent Program.

Maya empowers all students, including opportunity and justice-involved youth, to transform the trajectory of their lives. We do this by engaging each of our scholars in a restorative, relevant school experience that prioritizes personalized academic support, well-being, and preparation for the post-Maya pathway of their choice. With an education in our network of schools, our scholars will do more than succeed – they will thrive!

Teens of Color Abroad (TOCA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to offering students of color immersive global language learning and cultural exchange opportunities.  The organization accomplishes this through four distinct programs: Passport Pathways, Community Circles, TOCA Online, and a high school study abroad program that takes students abroad for two weeks. Through transformative learning experiences, we help students build confidence, spark motivation, and continue their educational journeys with purpose. Our mission is to shape the next generation of globally conscious leaders ready to make an impact. With over 1,000 students reached so far—and many more to come—TOCA is changing the world, one travel experience at a time!Maya empowers all students, including opportunity and justice-involved youth, to transform the trajectory of their lives. Our High School Study Abroad Program now offers two separate 2-week in-person language immersion experiences in Spain and France. Students will study Spanish in Seville, Spain, with our partner school, Centro Mundo Lengua, or French in Aix-en-Provence, France, alongside fellow students from New York City.

Accompanied by TOCA staff, students will immerse themselves in the local culture, engaging in activities that highlight each country's rich history and traditions. In Spain, students will experience flamenco, the scent of orange blossoms, flower-filled patios, Moorish palaces, and stunning gardens. In France, students will explore the country's distinctive cultural landmarks and participate in art classes in the beautiful lavender fields.
